Bottom Bracket for Felt DA using Shimano Ultegra Crankset
Quote | Reply
Recently picked up a used Felt DA frame set to build up and will be wanting to run my Shimano 6800 crankset as this is the power meter setup I have available. I am looking for recommendations on a reasonable route for installing these. The frame has bearings still sitting in it, however I am not knowledgeable enough in this area to recognize what may be missing. Will post a pic later.

Standard BB30 with adapter such as Wheels mfg or ?
Conversion BB such as Praxis or ?

Thanks

Wheels Manufacturing BB30 outboard.

I use the GXP version on my DA. It's great. It's very, very simple to install, clean, replace. I'd recommend this over using the BB30 bearings.

But I'm in the camp that thinks all press-fit style bearings are a step backward in BB's and the golden age was the outboard bearing era.
