This may be a silly question but since I am going to participate in a relay with friends I was just curious if there are ever enough relay teams for them to post the results? Do the results just end up under the team captain's name so there is no way to look at previous years' race results and get an idea of how many were relays?

It is typically it's own category (male, female, co-ed) and listed as the team name.
On another note you want to take the run leg. Sleep in a bit, have a nice breakfast with time to digest and then take all the finish line glory ;)

I've done a few. Results are hard to find. Ours are under the team captain's name. They did do awards the years I did it.

OK - - thanks this is how I thought it must be done as there are no relay results on the ironman 70.3 site.
Did a relay at the HITS Rancho Cordova race last year with 2 other guys over 50. It was a LOT of fun!!!!!
