I was going to ask the following question: "When is the race next year and how do we register"....I found all the details on their website...July 17, 2016, register onsite or get a buddy who raced to get you a ticket, or go online at 4 am EDT on 20 July this year or again in December:

http://www.challenge-roth.com/...ays-to-register.html

2016: Race will be on July 17

Three ways to register

2016 DATEV Challenge Roth will take place on July 17, 2016, i. e. on the third weekend in July, and thus one week later than usual. The reason for the postponement next year is the European Football Championship, because the final is scheduled to be on July 10. Since many triathlon fans are also football enthusiasts, we decided to postpone our event. But in 2017, DATEV Challenge Roth will be back to its traditional date on the second weekend in July.

How to register for 2016
There will again be three ways to register for the 2016 race.

1. Instant Registration on Monday, July 13, 2015, 9 a.m. at the main pavilion

At this year’s Award Ceremony at 9 a.m., athletes will have the opportunity to register for 2016 DATEV Challenge Roth. Tickets will be allocated on a “first come, first served” basis. The number of start places is limited to 1,000 individual participants and 200 relay teams. Each athlete will be allowed to acquire one ticket (either for themselves or for another person). Payment can be made via EC card (preferred), Visa, MasterCard or cash.

In view of the huge interest last year, unfortunately we cannot guarantee that each athlete will in fact be able to obtain a ticket, which you will certainly understand.

2. Online Registration on Monday, July 20, 2015, 10.00 a.m.
On Monday, July 20, at precisely 10.00 a.m. the online registration process will be launched.
Further slots will be allocated depending on the order of incoming requests. This will only be a pre-registration, in which athletes are asked to give their first name, last name, date of birth, nationality and e-mail address. Each athlete whose registration has been successful, will receive a confirmation via e-mail within 24 hours, including a personal registration code. The registration can then be completed using this code. Please note that the registration must be made within one week!
Since the race will again be booked up soon, we urgently ask everyone to get ready for registration at precisely 10 a.m. You’d better be fast!

3. Pre-Christmas Action on December 6, 2015, 12 noon
As a part of our charity pre-Christmas action, our registration lists will again be open on December 6 at exactly 12 noon, in order to allocate the very last remaining tickets. The action will follow the same principle as the online registration on July 20, with just one difference: By taking part in the action, athletes will again support a good cause. For each ticket sold on December 6, EUR 50 will be donated to people who urgently require help.
If you want to take part in the action, please make sure to be exactly on time.

We are very sorry if anyone is not lucky enough to obtain a ticket!
We are aware of the fact that the number of start places will unfortunately not be sufficient for all interested athletes. We are very sorry about that, but we cannot increase the total number of tickets for reasons of athletes’ safety and quality of our competition. We appreciate your understanding. Good luck to you !

I'll be there tomorrow for most of the day. So, if you see someone with a blue 30th Leipziger Triathlon shirt, don't be afraid to say "hello".

How about a forum members meeting?
Give us a time and a location.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time like tears in rain.

Hey Gang,

The Endurance Conspiracy crew are at Roth, so be sure to swing by and say hello to the girls. Sadly, I'm home in Boulder, preparing to head off to Mammoth for USA Cycling Mountain Bike Nationals.

Good luck to those racing.

We used the Tri Travel/Race Quest group to get in and travel here this year. So far, nothing but positive reports including accommodating our United Airlines screwed up flight changes and re-routes. Krista with Race Quest is super nice.

We saw Felix today and he said there is a 90% chance it will be non-wetsuit swim for first time ever. Current water temp is 25 C. Can I use a sleeved tri suit in a non-wetsuit swim in this race?

English briefing is at 6pm in the festival tent. Before there is the French briefing at 5pm. If somebody is already there maybe there is an easier place to meet? My wife will meet the person she will help (riding a bike in front of the wheel chair for the 'run' section) at the English Briefing, so I will there at about this time anyway.

I will be at the bike check-in until 6pm I suspect. But I guess most will go to the bike check in.

How about tonight at the Erdinger "lederhosen und dirndl" party at 5:30 or just before?

I'm planning to go with RaceQuest in 2016 for my first full. Would love tips on the course from those who are there now. I'm especially wondering about the bike course.
Also, any gearing recommendations? I see the bike is not flat.

Biggest mistake I made at Roth was going to a beer garden a couple of days pre race and drinking lemonade.
Don't be an idiot. Have a beer.
Roth is the most fun you can have in triathlon.
Hup hup!
