Only one day to do weight training

So now in the south hemisphere we are in off-season. So beacuse of my schedule I can only do 1 gym session of weight training per week, will this help me, or i just do another session of swimming? also anybody has a plan for weight training for triathlon

Why don't you just add some core work 2 or 3 times a week to the end of some of your workouts...keep it basic, planks, pushups, pull ups.

Yes, I was thinking of doing one weight training session in wednesday and some 1 or 2 core workouts through the week
