cycling to grand canyon from albuquerque...advice?? Can't Post

if anyone has any tips on where to stay on the way. i really want to stop in flagstaff and hang there but if any of you have any imput like how cycling on the interstate is let me know. its me and my old college track teammate.

that funny
when i was traveling across usa ,i came from albuguergue and met a nice lady who traveled around the world and was riding on the interstate
we met each other on a truckers bar and shop
she was from england traveled the whole world on her own on the bike, and when i asked her how is riding on the interstate and is it not dangerous she answerd no its fun !and good road hot though no problem riding on it

she came from L.A
and trough flagstaff

I think I'd rather ride through Shiprock and then head west rather than ride on I-40. 550 won't be fun all the time, but the traffic on I-40 would make it miserable.
