does anyone know the amount and distribution of compression in the knee high socks

They are all different.
Zoot says theirs is 18-24 mmHg
Not sure about Cep (although I have them too)
SLS3 says theirs is "24-26"
Then of course there are medical grade ones that vary a lot. I got a pair of Medi ones from
www.ameswalker.com
that are MUCH tighter than the Zoots or CEP (I got 20-30 mmHg)
Usually the higher # is at the ankle and the compression is reduced as the sock goes up the calf.
There is an article in the Nov. Triathlete Mag about compression socks too.

thanks. it is quite true that medical socks can be 12-18mm hg, 20-30mm, 30-40mm, and 40-50mm hg.
