chicago tri sprint
Can't Post
I've done the oly the past two years and hate the wait to start so this year I did the sprint. Many newbies. I'm not one usually to talk shit about that sort of thing but a couple of highlights:
I was in wave 5, a woman in wave 1 was sitting in t1 spreading peanut butter on a bagel. You need a bagel now? A plain one won't do?
Bolting areo bars on a comfort bike makes me giggle.
Many people with backwards helmets. I put my helmet on backwards when I got to the car just to see if it felt strange. It does.

You're right. I hate it when new people get involved in the sport and do things the best way they know how. Before doing a triathlon, USAT should make a law that everyone read ST and spend thousands of dollars on tri gear.
As an experienced athlete, perhaps you should educate our less experienced triathletes know proper helmet use and nutrition.
Did you not know that in a race all runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.
