Obviously there will be some negative fall-out from the news of the bankruptcy filing. The B-word typically stirs negative emotions in people and that can't be a good thing in the short run. However, If we are to believe the press-releases and reports it's the motorcycle divison( an ill thought out venture to begin with) that was causing the problems. The bicycle side of the business, again according to the reports, is viable, so once the motorcycle divison is sold and done away with, Cannondale should be back to doing what they do best - building bicycles. The challenge will be to ride out the negative news of the bankruptcy and the possible dip in sales of bikes from this news.
