Wheel cover for a HED Alps? Can't Post

I think I read someone here on ST posting that Wheelbuilders won't cut a wheel cover to fit an Alps rear wheel for some reason, like maybe it won't fit properly for some reason. Is that true?

Has anyone used a HED Alps with a cover with good results?

I think it would work much the same as a Zipp 404 cover

I have a Wheelbuilder cover on a Hed Jet 60 - just sent them the profile depth and they cut it. It works great and fits well.

I didn't have any trouble using my wheelcover with an Alps and don't know why you would. I don't own this wheel anymore but this was a hed Alps with Powertap hub. I had this wheelcover on a shallower wheel so I just cut it down myself and put it on the Alps. It worked great!

I have posted that Wheelbuilders was having a problem doing a cover for a HED Jet Deep which is 90mm and they informed me that this was too deep. I think if I am going to race again that I will just get a cover for my AC Sprint 350 rear wheel as it is nice and light and with a cover, it will be a light Disc :-)
