What Polar model will work?
Can't Post
I'm looking for a Polar HRM that will work as a bike computer while wearing it on my wrist (wireless
preferred
).
And will also work as HRM during swim & run. It there such a setup as this?

S720 or S725 are technically the models you should look at. They come with the wireless bike sensors so you hop on your bike and you get your bike speed.
The S725 is also upgradeable to run speed with the addition of a foot pod. The S625x is a run version (comes with a foot pod) that can be upgraded to a bike version with the addition of the wireless speed and cadence sensors.
Personally, unless your main concern is keeping track of your HR for the entire race and downloading it I'd combo a RS200 watch with a CS200cad bike computer. The RS200 is nice and light, has a huge customizeable display and is an awesome watch. The CS200cad is the best bike computer you'll ever own. Only bummer is neither offer IR downloading or store a super detailed workout summary file for download. You could also check out the new RS400 wrist monitor instead of the RS200. Adds IR downloading and a more detailed workout summary along with foot pod compatibility but keeps the size a bit smaller than a S720/725/625x

For ordering info, please email me at tai@taigraphx.com, PMs are great but please use them for ST stuff only:) thanks!

Yep - the s720i, s725x or s625x can work this way, you may need to set the speed/cadence sensors to transmit in "high power" mode to increase the transmitter range - there is a jumper inside the sensor to do this.

Although the s725 doesn't work with the footpod, it's the s725x that does, they appear similar though
They're great monitors, I've got an s625x and it does everything!

As others have suggested, the 725x is the right model. Check
www.westgap.com
for prices on the 725x. I found the site the other day and thought they had some great deals. The owner used to be involved in long distance adventure racing.

I 've posted how to increase the power output here:

On my own website I've done a video review of the 725x, including the software and the run features. I'll post on the bike features early next week.

i do the cs200 and rs200sd combo. i dont get the good downloadability and no altitude, but its easier in transition. a buddy does the 625x and has to fumble around with switching modes or something to get his footpod to work. he might not be doing it right, but i thought my route was easier.
