The new P3 is looking even better (pics) Can't Post

The new 2010 P3 is looking very nice. True the frame has been around the block at time or two, but somehow I think Cervelo keeps her looking fresh from the oven. The pictures dont do the bike justice though seeing one in person gives the full effect. Not mention the frameset price went down $400.

The new SLK Crankset looks WAY better than previous versions. The DA-esque chainrings are sharp.

The new fork that is on the P4 models is now on the P3 DA.

The new seatpost is a glossy black

What are you using for brake lever covers? I have an old set on one of my bikes that I believe were made by Grab-On. I don't know if they're still around but yours look pretty similar.

Very nice, thanks for posting. I like the SLK crank quite a bit, but what's up with the American Classic wheelset doing the 'single red spoke' characteristic of the Ksyrium ES?

So they painted it white and put a red stripe on it... wohooo!!

Cervelo has the lamest graphics in the entire bike industry, they could hire a teenager to do a better job

That is sweet. That's gotta be one of the best looking P3s I've ever seen. Also, I think the P3 is a far, far better looking bike than the P4.

They are made by vision and came with the bike. Much nicer on the hands.

What would make you happy? Glow in the dark paint? Flames? Ninjas?

Post a pic of a bike with an acceptable paint scheme. I am curious.

Don't mind XCSNAIL, he is an angry pro triathlete who only posts to express anger and dismay.

By the way adam, I'll jog on down to the store take one of those P3Cs if you ever have stock you need to give away =)

and tell George to quit crushing my dreams

That is nice - best paint scheme for the P3 so far (which isn't saying much) ;). Funny, how just *white* did it. Does the carbon show through the "Cervelo" on the downtube or is that just paint as well? Looks like just paint - a bummer there.

Those are the 2010 American Classic 420s. They changed the spoke pattern on the rear wheel (to make them stronger). You cant tell in the pic though but they have a really cool looking red anodized hubs. 1530g a pair. www.amclassic.com

The one colored spoke...very mavic.

That's pretty lame - why not across the line? Does the frameset come with it?

Why can't people get the ultrega, send shimano less money, but still get the fully aero rig? DA really isn't that great of an improvement, while the fork is.

Does anyone know what kind of speed improvements the P4 fork gives to the P3C? I have a 3T fork on mine and am curious.

To me, Cervelo disappoints once again. Not really surprising....

Given the economic environment though, I would have expected them to put some energy into the visual appearance of the graphics so that they could continue cranking out those P3C for profit on a mold that's long been paid for. I have no idea about their sales but it wouldn't surprise me one bit if they lose market share to competition that gets that the consumer wants more than just a fast frame. Just my opinion though.

Edit: I very much like their innovation and (structural) frame design though.

Thats why they lowered the price from $3300 to $2900.

Thanks to that I got my 2009 P3 for $2500.

I didnt care for the new paint anyway :)

Wicked bike - I am getting my Ultegra version on Wednesday and can't wait - although I am upgrading a lot of the components to DA anyway and getting a CinQo for the cranks...so it will be a Ultegra Ace bike!!! ;-) I like the new schemes...congrats on your new machine and have a great year!!!!

Huh. Weird. Like the P2C frameset I got a couple of years ago, once again I prefer the paint job on the Ultegra-spec frame versus the Dura-Ace.
I just don't dig white bikes.

I much prefer the 2007 black/white paint. Interesting it is spec'd with AC420s though.

Have any pics of George's bike built up for Longhorn? That paint scheme rocks. Personally, I would like to paint mine exactly like that all red track version, but that's another thing I won't be doing until after the wedding.
