Source for older model running shoes? Can't Post

Where would you look online for say a 2006 model shoe?

I believe I've seen older model year shoes at roadrunner (http://www.roadrunnersports.com).

I'm not sure how explicit they are on the model year, but when you find the same shoes in different colors on sale, that's a clue they are a previous model year.

You can probably find them on most of the larger internet retailer sites.

Is there a specific model you are loyal to that has been updated in a way you don't like?
The downside to buying older shoes is that the EVA sole material becomes 'stale' even without use. FWIW, I wouldn't think that this is an issue with Nike Air shoes.

Roadrunner's pretty good about keeping stocks of popular legacy shoes longer than most other places.

When my husband was trying to track down some of the last Cumulus 7s (or maybe it was 6ses) for sale in North America, he had good luck with these guys-

They seemed to have a lot of clearance/discontinued models for sale.

I'm actually asking for a coworker who wants to get back to her asics that she had in '06 after trying Brooks shoes since. Doesn't remember the asics model but would recognize 'em.

A couple of places I go

Eastbay - http://www.eastbay.com

Kelly's Running Warehouse (really just Eastbay's outlet) - http://www.kellysrunningwarehouse.com

Holabird - http://www.holabirdsports.com

They have plenty of older models

I picked up 2110's in lake placid last summer. they had a few different model Men's and Ladie's New old stock. I was shocked to find them, that model seems to work best for me. The discount shoe store was on 86 heading out of town toward Syranac Lake just before the grocery store on the left hand side. Sorry I do not remember the name. I think they are a chain location.
