shoot me an email - finding the right tubes helps to have the manual...

I was considering builting two frames identically, one with a 40mm bb and narrow rear hub and one with std 68/130 and see if I could test the difference (and would it be worth it on a VERY aero bike).

"yup. that's the one. there is a framebuilder supply house that still has some in stock too..."

Can you tell which and do you have pics of the frame? I had always wanted a steel tri-bike but had given up...

my apologies to Superdave (for highjacking the thread)...

here is the frameset built with it. I didn't have the wheel nice and tight with the tube yet - still needed to remove a link from the chain...

That seat tube looks like the one on the circa '96 KHS "Aero Turbo":

....probably because the same guys helped design it ;-)

Good work!
This shows off the deatils- aero post, and dropped toptube leaving enough headtube for a normal bike!

Looks like Felt has done their homework. Will it come with a dual position seat post like the Soloist and Talon?

What is really freaking cool is the cable routing for the dérailleurs through the TT.

Man, you need to dial down the saturation on your photos. I feel like I just got punched in the eyeballs.

The frame shape, without a bayonet fork, looks a lot like my Felt B12...

Get some bifocals.
They are thumbnails from Cor Vos' website.

If a 23-year-old needs bifocals to not be blinded by their images, they better hire a better Photoshopper. By over-saturating the image (in post-production, I imagine), they're blowing out the highlights in the color channels, which loses you a lot of detail and makes the photos pretty much usesless for print publication. Not to mention, the skin tones are over-red, which makes everyone look either radioactive or sunburnt.

So...is it faster and/or lighter than an SLC or SLC-SL? If so, by how much? :-)

Pretty bike... but why not make the cutout a constant radius that follows the profile of the tire from bottom bracket and chainstays to seatstays?

Pfft!

The frame was indeed faster than any ROAD frame and many TT frames tested.

I'll get more information out there once we officially launch the bike.

I'm not going to steer this into an "us vs. them" release however. This is about "us for you".

Good question, the effectiveness of the cut out has alot to do with the leading shape and the proximity of the tire to the tube.

The bikes needs to have vertical dropouts and clearance for 27mm Vittoria Pave tubulars. We also needed a light simple solution to mount the rear brake. The result was the seat tube cross sectional shape that you can't see in the photos that precedes the wheel.

Remember this bike needs to be able to capable of having a nuetral wheel change in 5-7 seconds and be used on wet cobbles. First cobblestone competition test was at the Zeeland Tour:
