RV park near IM Coeur d'Alene?	Can't Post

Has anyone taken a RV to IMCDA? If so, is there a close RV park near the race? I'm doing the race, but my parents would like to come up with their RV and I'm trying to get some recommendations. Thanks

When I moved from Ontario, Canada to Southern California 10 years ago I stayed at a KOA campground across the road from the lake near Coeur d'Alene. I think they had RV hook ups but I could be wrong.

define "close". from my 2006 memory, there is a HUGE RV park about 3 miles? from downtown along the Spokane River.

Thanks, I actually found that one via Google. I'm really looking for one as close as possible to the CDA resort. I found one called Cedar Park (I think) and it seems to be about 2 miles from the resort. Any knowledge of this one?

Don't know about RV parks, but I saw people living out of RVs all around the race site for the couple of days before 2008 CDA.

I stayed at the same one last year. I had a good time and it's really close. It's an easy ride to the start although I'm not sure I'd advise it. The road outside the can get pretty busy. You even get hear the end of the race if you choose not to hang around. The announcers voice carries clear across the park and river.

I'm booked in at Blackwell Island RV park. It's on the river to the West of the start about 2-3 miles away.
