Question for the fit guru's... Can't Post

When riding, my right leg feels as if it's doing the majority of the work. After a few miles it seems to even out, but at the end of the ride, my right leg is much more fatigued then the left. I have the same issue regardless of which position/bike i'm riding.(road/tri) I have also started noticing this when i'm running as well. Does this sound like a fit issue or do I need to join the circus as the the guy with one leg longer than the other?

Thanks for your help in advance...

Keith

I'm not a fit guru, but I know that the Computrainer can measure the power output by each leg independently. You might find one and try it out so that you can get objective data and make sure it's not all in your head.

I'm not a fit guru either but have experienced the same issue. Probably has nothing to do with hav ing one leg longer than the other because you would likely already know if you had that (at least that is what my fitter told me). More likely that you just have a dominant side of the body as most of us do. I tend to do everything initiated from the right side. Almost every injury or annoying pain also manifests itself on my right side. I'd be I terested to hear if anyone offers a solution.

This is a person begging for one legged drills. Stary every ride with this easy drill. Left foot in, right foot out. Pedal for 30 seconds. Then switch feet and pedal for 30 seconds. The one minute of both feet. Repeat 3 or 4 times each side.

This will help you even out your pedal stroke. At the start you will feel a 'clunk' at certain points in your pedal stroke. Over time it will even out and you will have a more efficient stroke because of it.
