Profile Carbon Cobra basebar, cut the ends off?	Can't Post

Has anyone successfully cut the upturned ends of the PD cobra carbon (or whatever its called) basebar off and still mount the brake levers?

I cut some off. Because of the vision tech levers, I needed to leave some of the upturn, otherwise it was too big of an opening for the lever.
