Polar Wearlink Strap users: How To Remove?
Can't Post
Hi All,
Just got one of those new polar wearlink straps...for the first time, no dropouts, no crazy readings. It is fantastic. The problem is getting the *%$!# thing off! The snaps stick pretty tight, and I am afraid of putting too much pressure on the housing and breaking it.
Is there a trick to this? Should I be on the short bus?

the strap should have come with a little paper slip of instructions on how to un snap it. It's a strange movement to get it off but once you get it down not to bad. If it's on your chest take your right hand placing it on top of the strap with your thumb on the back of the platic central part (thumbnail pointing towards your body, left side of pointer finger on the front of the middle plastic piece). Use your left hand to hold it steady and twist your wrist to the front on your right hand, basically pushing your thumbnail towards your chest and your wrist to the front. Should pop right off. Hard to describe but once you get it it's not that bad. Some straps are tighter than others though.
