Polar - RS200 download using Sonic Link Can't Post
I am running Microsoft Vista and am having trouble getting my results transferred via SonicLink. I have contacted the Polar helpdesk and the only suggestions related the microphone volume. The instructions I get directed to are MS Windows so do not help me try and see if I have everything configured correctly. Anyone experience the same or can suggest a solution? It has actually transferred up to 98% and then failed - out of approx 50 attempts it has only started transferring about 8 times. HELP!

Sorry, can't help. Sonic link is CRAP! number 1 reason why I never downloaded my polar files.

One thing I do remember was that I had to use a built in mic rather than an external one to do it?

Best advice, assuming you are in NZ (with a name like kiwipat): Sell it and buy a Garmin Edge from the US. Polar stuff has a good re-sale value in NZ, should more than cover the cost of a Garmin from the states.

A common problem with Vista machines. Go to your manufacturer's site and download an updated driver for your sound card. Then, make sure that you have the volume on for your mic.
