Phoenix, Take3:-)	Can't Post

All right! Rain, no rain, who is in next week-end? saturday, I want to bike 5:30 and run 30 min.. sunday I am running 2:45. My friend Jen is flying in, so we want to go to dinner and maybe out for a couples drinks sat night. Who may be interested in that too? should be fun..

In and in. They are saying rain so if that happens can we drink for 5:30 on Saturday and eat for :30?

Oh yea. I forgot to tell you I am injured and have to take the weekend off. I think you should go 7 hours and then 2 hour run. I will keep her busy for ya. I don't want to training to slack at all!

If anyone is interested in a different route that is a bit hillier (sp?) and will take around 5:30 - we are starting at Pima/Dynamite in N. Scottsdale heading East on Dynamite down 9-mile hill and thru Rio Verde putting us right at the turn around at McDowell Mtn. Park. - down the IMAZ course and back up puts us right at 100 miles finishing with 9 mile hill on the last 11 miles. We are starting this ride at 8:00 on Saturday 2/19. Much of this route is nicer than curled streets on the REZ.

I get in at 10:56pm fri, she gets in at 11:20pm friday as well.. I am going to be tired sat morning.. I figured with the 3 pools/hot tub at my place, starbucks and chipotle a couples blocks away, she'll be fine.. My TV is not hooked (one of those things I still need a guy for)!!! so if it rains, oh well...

What do you mean by hooked? If you already have cable, I can hook it up for you. If not, I can get you the number and you can just call them. I could hook it up when I drop off your bike if you want me to. Also, I can let you borrow a DVD player if you need one to keep her occupied. Let me know.

Yes. Saturday, 2/19/05 - 8:00 a.m. There is plenty of parking on the side of the road plus trail run if you don't mind dodging mtn. bikers.

welll...... i got one of those home dvd thing with speakers, still in the box:-) I don't have cable, I still at the phase where I need to find out which cable company (called cox they said not servicing my area..)

You make 100 miles for that? Adding it one way starting in Tempe I get: IMAZ to Park: 27, ~6 miles to Dynamite, 9 mile hill, maybe 3 miles to Pima, so total 45 each way. I was thinking about doing that route and up into Cave Creek/Carefree to get above 100 (eventually).

That sounds like a good ride. How often do you take that route?

(note to self; If I do the ride from Scottsdale and ride really fast, I'll be able to put the moves on Marisol's friend before briantryintri even finishes his ride in Tempe)

I'm all up for the 9 mile loop. From the parking lot at Tempe we can easliy make it 100+. Lots of climbing. Did it in the rain a couple of weeks ago.

My friend, you do not have to ride really fast. Just ride at your regular pace and compard to mine, you could get a lunch and a dinner date out of her!

It could be closer to 90 - the distance from Dynamite to the park entrance was a little fuzzy. Plenty of wide open road from Pima/Dynamite to make up the extra distance.

It's me right now. Went to ride today and it was raining where I was riding but somewhat sunny in my direction. The freaking rain followed me home. Going to run again in the rain. I want to move to Seattle.
