Perfect Push Up review Can't Post

I found a pair of Perfect Push Up at a thrift store for super cheap and bought them. They are a pair of handles that rotate are you push up and lower down. Everyone laugh all you want but these things work. My wrists and elbows do not hurst when I use them. I don't now how they help with pain but they do. So I say get them.

That's the thing. I don't get why people's wrists hurt from push ups. I went to military school and have done more push ups in my life than you can imagine. I have NEVER had any sort of pain from them.

Everyone is built different. I could say the same thing about people who get back pain. I lift plenty of weight at work everynight and my back is the only thing that doesn't hurt on my body.

Yeah. That would be my only guess. Carpel tunnel or something to that effect.

But if you buy these, aren't you indirectly supporting the warmongering militarism that plagues this country?

My wrists and elbows do not hurst when I use them.

I assume you mean hurt.

Have you ever tried push-ups on your knuckles, on a soft surface? Not trying to sound bad-ass (grew up doing karate from the age of 6 to adulthood), but try it and look at the wrist to forearm relationship. To relate, its similar to holding normal "ski-bend" extensions which some here swear by for comfort (I don't).

Not to totally hijack, but what style? (I still do/teach martial arts...)

And you are correct in the anatomical alignment..

I got tricked into opening this thread because I thought you were going to be reviewing either bras or PowerCranks.

Re: Perfect Push Up review [Devlin] [In reply to] Can't Post

Keep in mind I'm in New Zealand. Most of my formative years (to shodan-ho) I practiced a style called Zen Do Kai...an Australian-based school IIRC. Our regional head instructors then branched off and formed their own called Kiai Do Ryu...went through to 2nd-dan with them. Afterwards dabbled in other related styles and some casual kickboxing...went along to a few local Kyokushin classes but didn't really like it, actually preferred the somewhat bastardised "freestyle" karate I grew up on. Please excuse all spelling, its been a while... :)

Gotta love the thrift stores. My wife and I had a date today, lunch and browsing at Goodwill. I got my son some rollerblades and a big stuffed bear for my dog to tear apart.

Using proper form my gut is drawn in by locking my core. My boobs aren't that big. Creepy but not huge.

Damn, you killed my 70's muscle car buzz. I was thinking of wrists and elbows popping out of place like a Hurst 4 on the floor of a Mach 1 Mustang.

I can just imagine the scene....

Sergent: Get down and give me 20, you horrible little man
Recruit: This recruit requests permission to get his perfect push-up equipment, sergent! This recruit does not want to hurt his carpal tunnels, sergent! This recruit is also a bit concerned about how such blatent Seal branding may be negatively impact the image of our good nation abroad, sergent!

Re: Perfect Push Up review [ironjew] [In reply to] Can't Post

Dont know how peoples wrists hurt doing pushups??? you must be young.

Climbing accident:
- pulverized right side of left hand, lost mobility in the thumb, very nearly all bones (small ones) in my fingers and wrists were broken.

If I could bottle the pain associate with a push up 8 years after the accident and send it to you, you would "get it"
