but this time, it's a...tennis player (and a retired tennis player actually).
Andre Agassi has an autobiography coming out, where he admits having used drugs in 1997...
I thought I'd post that here. For once that it's not a cyclist :)
(although I've read that Agassi has a bike).

Maybe that's why he played poorly in 1997...
As for the comment about Agassi being white trash, it's funny, given he is half iranian/armenian...Lance on the other hand...

i don't even really know what you are getting at. Sounds like a way to pretend you are better than a guy who had talent, worked hard, and made an amazing career out of it, because you didn't happen to do this particular drug.

Some of you guys are the ones that constantly bring Lance into everything. Why don't you bring up Barry Bonds or Mark McGwire for a change since you're bringing up past history. Move on. Let your "Lance did it" obsession go. It's not healthy.

Also read about the book about Agassi on the internet. Well, I am not really shocked or surprised. I am quite sure that a lot of popular sportsmen took drugs during the career (I don't speak of doping). They also have to get used to the success and the media, just like rock or movie stars.

The bigger question, IMO, is why is the ATP letting players off for doping violations when they use the excuse 'unwittingly' or 'inadvertently'? Gasquet's excuse of a cocaine positive by kissing a woman at nightclub reminds me of Baumann's toothpaste excuse...

And for your info, I don't hate lance...I just think he doped like everybody else...
That's your 'defense' each time 'oh you lance hater'...you guys crack me up really...Lance didn't dope but kicked everybody's ass for 7 years straight, they were all on the juice but him...yeah right ;-)
