Some of those are pretty cool, especially the 'cracking' one. Not sure if I'd get one, I'm probably the only Marine vet without a tattoo.

Eventhough I do not completly understand why people do it (but after having watched a bunch of Miami Ink, starting to get it a bit), some of them are not that bad/ugly and a bit creative.
some of them are pretty plain/basic/fugly/lack of creativity.
But the "best one" is the Ford Ironman one... seriously with the Ford logo?????

actually id sooner have a ford tattoo than an IM one
at least ford has been around long enough with a cool enough history that attaching some sort of important symbolic meaning to it is only 75% crazy

The Ford logo is no dumber than the M-Dot logo.
Either way you are permanently affixing a corporate logo to your body.

Not just that, but this does not look like someone that will make the effort to be slim all their life. I would hate to see it in 20 years when the huge beer gut kicks in.

Hey SwimFan,
I have done nearly 20 IM's and refuse to get a tattoo (of any kind). I think they look tacky and I do not want a corporate logo on my body anyways......The cat tattoo looks really stupid...

The problem I have with most of them is that they are just to damn big and in your face (for others to see). I really don't have a big problem with the real same ones around the ankle that you have to be right up close to know what they are (more for the person themselves rather than for others to see).
