No live TV coverage, but there is live video coverage.

I am a bit worried they will screw up the live video coverage...

Where do you think the live TV coverage will be getting their live video feed?

Ok, so will the 'coverage' air on national TV/Cable networks at some point?

NBC brings their own trucks and Camera equipment... Ironman Live Streaming relies on Ironman infrastructure which we know already has issues since they can't get a regional ironman to stream correctly.

I've watched on the internet in the past and it works very well. One of the best days of the year is college football on TV with IM on the laptop nearby.

does NBC bring a truck or is there one that lives there? Is it HD? I can't imagine there are enough events to cover to pay off a truck.

They're set to air the editted NBC coverage on Sat., Dec.13th from 2:30-4:00.

I really wish that they'd go back to the 2 hour version. You get way more race coverage and the age grouper profiles wouldn't suffer either.

Maybe that'll be the next post or has it been done?

There are major events in Hawaii - Pro Ball, university of Hawii football, tough man competition etc... There must be some infrastructure to support video coverage from the major channels.

A mobile TV unit cost upwards of 5 mil dollars. There ain't no way in hell they cover the cost of that truck. It must do a lot of other stuff besides sports but I can't figure out what it would be. I need to get a job working that truck and get the hell outta minnesota.
