IM 70.3 WC - Distance? Can't Post

Were distances accurately measured at the world championships?

Thanks for answers.

I didn't GPS it, but I think it was.

One reason the bike is so fast is the draft you get from cars driving by. You are in the left lane and you have traffic flying by you in the right lane, in the same direction as you. You kind of get this suck draft off each car that drives by. Add in the smooth pavement, 1,800 athletes in a narrow lane, flat course, and you are flying. As for the run, the pros just hauled ass yesterday. So, if you didn't ride in a pack, you got the benefit of sling-shotting off each slower rider you passed. Unless you just stay on the left which is also illegal.
