Doping Supply VS. Demand article on Everymantri

Interesting article in light of the thread we just had re: 10 year penalty for *users* in Austria. Nobody ever talks about the suppliers though. Who are these doctors or pseudo-doctors who are supplying the doping products, conducting research for the better mousetrap so to speak, and looking/marketing/creating markets for their product? How about instead of a 10 year jail sentence, or even a 2 year ban from the sport, you get a 1 year ban if you give up all the information you have about where you got the drugs. It wouldn't take long with some social networking software I assume investigators have before you could get an accurate picture as to the doping supply network. This would give some incentive to test more frequently (taking down entire networks rather than one MOP athlete), and still be a deterrent to using, with the added effect (hopefully) of deterring the supply, research and development side of the equation. thoughts?
