Can someone DVR and post IMKY for me? Charter doesn't carry Universal Sports.

You may be able to watch it on the universal website after it shows. They had silverman on there last year, and it was the whole show, not just the 5 minute highlight.

Well depending on the DVR, you record it to a USB drive and connect it to a linux machine and copy the avi or whatever file format your dvr records it in. The other option is if you have a tv tuner card in your computer, you can record shows on your pc.
Once you have the file, you can post at a file sharing site and other's can download it.

I just set my Tivo to record it. It's very easy to transfer shows between Tivos and PCs.

It has a network adapter built into it so you just run a cable from it to your router, switch, or hub. Then you can go to your web browser and put its IP address as the URL and download the shows as MPEG2 files. There are also user-made programs that simplify that process even further. You can use VideoRedo to edit out the commercials and then send it back to the Tivo or burn it to DVD. Since I got the Tivo, I hardly ever use my DVD player. I just keep shows on the Tivo or on my PC and watch everything through the Tivo.
You can also download videos from the 'net and have your PC emulate another Tivo. Just about any video that you can play on your PC can be streamed to the Tivo.
Another nicety is that it's easy to upgrade the hard drive in a Tivo. I put in a 1 terabyte hard drive so I rarely have to delete anything. I still have the entire TdF in HD with room to spare.

Is there anyway I can get a copy? I finally got some rabbit ears working so I was able to watch the broadcast and my wife is in it holding her sign in La Grange and they briefly showed me Blazeman rolling across the finish at the end. That is the only video I will ever have of my first IM finish and I would love to have it. I can't believe they showed that.

Was it filmed in HD? I only get Universal in SD. If SD is acceptable then I can get you a copy. They might have compressed it more for cable than over-the-air but the quality is decent--at least as good as Versus before it went HD.

I put it at the, uh, cove where buccaneers hang out (and used their tracker as I did the last time I created a torrent...months ago) only to find out they no longer have a tracker. I changed the tracker and people are downloading now.
