Cervelo could take note: their stock color schemes often leave much to be desired. And this from an owner of two Cervelos.

That looks clean and awesome.

Any idea on cost and/or a link for Darren to inquire about paint jobs?

Very nice paint. It also appears that the logos are paint, not decals.

It's great that there are causes to support but I've gotta wonder about "fight against paralysis" when there's plenty of folks that have been paralyzed from bike crashes. Seems a bit odd.

that is NICE! I'd love to see that built up with some 1080's on it.

Cervelo should hire Darin to design their color schemes....that is FAR better than any stock Cervelo I've ever seen.

Talk about "Brand Loyalty", Cervelo's got it.

It seems that most who repaint P3C's feel obligated to keep the Cervelo 'badge' on their machine.

Anyone got a custom painted P3C without the Cervelo logo?

Thank you for all the compliments! I really appreciate it!
Here are a couple of Cervelos I have done with no logos.....except for the one with Vel on the head tube ;)

Man, that is a nice paint scheme that compliments the lines of the bike very well.

My study for a repaint project.
Hope to complete next month.
Looking at a red clear carbon finish fade to natural.
Hi-gloss finish over to close after decals.

I agree with the others-- the paint colors and design improve the bike's look significantly. Cervelo should take note.

I don't like powder blue but that combo is gorgeous. Wow it looks great with a paint scheme that is up to date. I agree with others, Cervelo take note.

That is very cool, but one thing to consider about Cervelo, they are an engineering company - function over fashion

I'd venture a guess that the percentage of people paralyzed by bike crashes is far under .1%

that's a terrible excuse for cervelo. they are a company started by engineers, they are a bike manufacturer. i'd bet they have marketing, sales, and design guys, aside from the engineers.

besides, if they have the best product, why not also have the best looking? it can't take that much more effort, and many will make a final decision based on looks.

Their marketing is also very engineer based. Look at it; it's the most boring, follow the leader crap out there, but they don't seem to care, as the bikes keep flying out of the factory. Maybe some day they will awaken and become a leader in fashion as well as form. They do have a very tired image, with very fast bikes. We'll see if this economy puts a dent in the sales, or enough for them to re-think image.
