Awesome. Use them for my cyclocross. They perform every bit as good as the Candies, which I have on all my mtn bikes.
I believe there are better options for pure road though... gotta love the SPDSL - ultegra would be the same price and just as nice.

I agree.......
I run a set of the Candies on my Single Speed Mountain Bike and would tend to agree that they have too much float for a road bike? They look like the Candies, and the Candies have a lot of float in my opinion.

Yes. Too much play in general. Side to side, float, and up and down. Everything is a scoosh tighter on a road pedal and it makes it feel good.
