Yes, I have used them. I really like them. My favorite tires actually. Nice. Fun. Cool looking too.

It really sucks putting them on your wheels though

I use them and like them a lot. They are surprisingly durable, too (knock on wood). They are, indeed, a pain in the butt to mount, so I'll repeat the tip I keep giving: use some soapy water and they slide right on. (Obviously, make sure you get the soap residue off the rims.) And make sure you keep a strong pair of tire levers in your flat kit.

So you train on them too? I have had good luck training and racing on Conti GP3000s, but I'm really curious about this newer Attack/Force combo. I would just hate to switch and have the A/F not be as flat resistant as the GP3000s are. I almost never get flats with the GP3000s.

I use them and like them. The front simply never wears out, while the rear lasts quite awhile.

They're cheaper at http://www.biketiresdirect.com/productdetail.asp?product=coafpkk7002a&i=1&manufacturers_id=Continental&category=Tires+and+Tubes&subcategory=Clincher%20Road%20Tires&sg=10&so=d And you can get them in colors!

The UPS man just delivered a set to my door. Glad someone reminded me about the soapy water trick before I got out there!

I guess what you are saying that the tires are durable (since the front tread always lasts longer than the rear).

I think these tires are more overpriced marketing-driven nonsense. Your bike isn't a race car. It doesn't need different tires for front and rear. The best tread pattern for a road bike tire is no pattern (slick), for all road conditions. Any other pattern does nothing but reduce grip.

At $75 a set.. let's see, uhh about $37.50 each - that's a reasonable price for high-end clinchers. Durable, yet grippy, at least I've never slipped or felt like they were going to mush out on me. Yes, they do have a little bit of a tread pattern. Nothing significant, though, essentially a slick. It's more likely there to differentiate it from other tires - just like Fizik's seat extension. The rear has harder rubber than the front in an attempt to match wear. It's not quite even, but close. The size difference is 22 and 23 mm, not that big of a difference. Probably as sigificant as carbon spacers, carbon cranks, carbon handlebars - things that make a 'huge' performance difference. (Do you have any carbon on your bike?)

Regardless of marketing ploys, purported scientific research, etc. they're excellent tires.

Thanks for the info all! I ordered them from biketiresdirect.com. I got the red ones to match my nice velomax circuits :)

My road bike is a Serotta Legend Ti (circa 1996). It has exactly one carbon component: the Kestrel EMS fork that came with the frame. My triathlon bike is a Cervelo P2K. It has exactly two carbon components: the standard seatpost and the fork, both of which came with the frame.

Also, the three online bike shops I just checked had these tire at $123, $103, and (on sale) at $85. You have found a low price for these tires.
