Coffees of Hawaii - Kona IM
Coffees of Hawaii is going to be doing a couple of fun things this year at Kona IM:

1. Stop by and say "hi" to us at booth #29 in the expo. We'll be displaying our beans, serving up samples, and debuting our new 100% Kona label..."Kona Nightingale". We'll be passing out "coffee cards" with a discount for website purchases that will be good thru November 30.

2. We are also going to be serving up iced espresso from a sailing canoe out on the swim course on TU, WE, TH from 7-9AM. I'm thinking we'll anchor by one of the orange buoys about 500-700 meters out. Swim out, hang out on the trampoline, and enjoy some real "aid". See photo of canoe here: http://www.coffeesofhawaii.com/company/news . Sorry, can't figure out how to post photo on this message.

Hope to see you all there.

That's a really cool idea about being on the swim course as a floating coffee bar!

mmmm... looking forward to trying the new Kona blend.

-My last bag of "Muleskinner" just ran out ... but it served its purpose getting me through a few cold Canadian AM swim practices!! I'll come by in Kona to re-stock.

First the Ford floating in the bay, now this? Pretty soon WTC will be renting expo space along the swim course. Well, it will take a lot of commerce before the entire Queen K is one long selling space. :)

Cool, that assumes I can still swim 700 meters. Couldn't you just put it off the point at the Royal Kona? That way I could just walk down in my fuzzy slippers.

Hey, Michael. If you want we can load up the canoe with a cooler of Infinit as well. I'm sure there will be some swimmers hanging out that don't drink coffee!

Sounds good to me, especially if Michael is in his fuzzy slippers out there.

Hummmmm. Not a bad idea. Co-op opportunity. We need to sit down and chat when I see you anyway. When do you get in?

Doc, no fuzzy slipers. Maybe I will wear my Ohio State boxers. :)

Michael:

I'm flying in Monday. I'll find you at the expo or at the beach....or at the canoe (if you take the fuzzy slippers off before swimming out)!

Sonja,
The true question will be, by how much will Albert beat his time of 9:35:16 of last year and how much higher will he climb in the top ten of his age group in Kona this year. :-)

You've got such a cool product and you support all kinds of tri activites. Very very neat. Kind of makes me wish I drank coffee.
