Campy to Shimano freehub? Can't Post

I know some people have said they have successfully used wheels having Campy cassettes with Shimano components, or vice versa. But assuming the interchange didn't work smoothly, is it possible to easily convert a Zipp and/or a PT wheel (wired SL version), each from a Campy freehub to a Shimano one?

Most Zipp wheels (at least the newer ones) can be converted from Shimano to Campy or vice versa. They sell the freehub body kits at their website for $100 or something like that.

Not sure about PT wheels.

You can convert the freehub carrier on newer PT hubs, but not the older ones.

Do you know what "newer" means or how to tell? My PT is from '06 I think. I'll probably try to ask Saris as well. Thanks.
