Broken rear 650 PT wheel...anyone got ideas(other than 700c)?	Can't Post

I just had a branch fall in front of me on my ride Saturday, and see a crack in my PT wheel. Unfortunately it's a 650 wheel. (Switching to 700 next season!) Anyone know of anyone who carries such an item, as I have a race 1.5 weeks away. Thanks!

Crack in rim? or hub? What kind of rim? If rim, why can't LBS get you a rim and rebuild it by race time?

Rim, and there isn't a dealer I'd trust locally. I'm contacting Bontrager and so far they MAY be able to help, but having 650 isn't great.

Thanks. It's a Bontrager unit, with 16 paired spokes.

is it a 16h powertap? hmmm that might take some looking

Although it my be a 32h that your wheel builder only used half the holes for. I thought taht PT only went down to 24h.

I'm sorry, it's a Bontrager Powertap hub? I guess I was not awar of those.

I just looked at the bontrager website, I stand corrected. Was it a carbon rim?

Yea. i like it a lot, but am hoping Bontrager comes through, or else I race with the Zipp disk. I guess the loss of power isn't a disaster.
