Bike rental in Chicago

My girlfriend is planning to give a sprint triathlon a go this spring, only issue is that she doesn't have a bike. Anyone know of anywhere in chicago that will allow you to 'borrow' a bike for training and the race?
Know this is a slim chance, but thought I'd ask.
