Bike Frame Suggestions
Can't Post
So the season has wrapped up and I have vowed to start from ground zero on my bike. I currently ride a 58 cm cervelo dual which I have been told is too big for me. I went in and got fit on a "fit bike" and all sorts of measurements were taken. The "ideal" frame they said has a 55ish cm top tube a 76 degree seat angle, and the kicker - a minimum of a 15cm head tube length.
Obviously scouring the tri frames - this set up doesn't really exist I think, or does it?
Unfortunately, custom is not going to be an option.
So - frame reccomendations? Is there a tri frame out there?
As far as a road frame goes, I would love reccomendations too. I have been doing my homework on the soloist and I have read that people use this as a hybrid of a road and tri bike. Does anyone use this as a dedicated tri bike as a
choice
? I do an IM every couple of years and a couple of half IM's and Olys every year.

This forum has been very helpful to me over the course of the year, I certainly appreciate that and thank you in advance!

Post a picture of yourself so we can critique your current position.

Based on your post, it looks like the Kuota K-Factor is right up you alley. Here is a link to the company site as well as a review by Tom D.:

You have carbon (if that matters to you)
You have a ride from an Italian company (again, if that matters)
The seat tube angle is what you need
The medium sized K-Factor has a pretty tall headtube (which can be made taller with a few spacers)
The North American sales rep posts here and makes himself very accesible
Did you not know that in a race all runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.

I'm really not sure how the head tube length would matter. That's a meaningless measurement....at least it has been since frames stopped all being made with horizontal top tubes and identical seat tube angles/top tube angles.
Ideally you would have stack and reach values.
