Attention: Brainiacs, Geniuses, & Propeller-Heads (Garmin 705 Installation Question) Can't Post

Calling all ST Intellects: I just got a Garmin Edge 705, and now that I've tried to install the thing, I'm stumped. It's too bulky for my tri bars (the outside edge leans into my forearm), and my stem is too steep to afford a good view of the display-even if I wedged up the bottom, my elbow pads are narrowly placed, making removal of the unit kind of dicey.

So-anyone have a solution or suggestion to Where Do I Put My Garmin?

I have mine mounted on the tri bars with the "Profili tri bar computer mount".

Works a treat for me.

If you want photos just ask and I'll send them.

Thanks comrades! Martin, is the PVC perpendicular to your tri bars? If so, how's it secured?

Trev-if a quick photo is not too much trouble, I'd be much obliged!

Yep, the PVC goes perpendicular.

Then all you do is shape the end with a box knife so it fits nicely against the bar, then drill a small hole throught the PVC and run the zip tie through the PVC and around the bar.
