Anyone rocking Kiwiami Suits?
Can't Post
I'm pretty stoked on the Kiwiami brand suits. Just seeing if anyone is racing in their suits, and what you think about them. Thanks

I have a Kaiman...love mine and often get comments on how sharp it looks. Get a lot of..."that's a cool tri suit...who makes it?" One of my training partners even bought one after seeing mine. My only complaint is that they are expensive, especially since the US$ is so weak right now, but that seems par for the course in triathlon gear.

I am receiving an amphibian in the mail soon for the nyc triathlon. I will post about it after the race.

Colin Jenkins (jenkstar) and I both are sponsored by them. They are great suits. We approached Kiwami for sponsorship after getting a chance to use their stuff. It is, hands down, the best triathlon clothing out there.

I too, approached Kiwami after Jordan's review of their product and having heard that Jordan & Colin were sponsored athletes.

I dont rock a suit but I finally got ahold of a K-singlet and Twinki shorts from Oliver at the ITU Worlds. It's great gear despite the price. Feels great and hugs the body really well. Plus the Kiwami guys have awesome customer service. Would recommend them everyone.
I got heart baby!

I love their suits. My preference is the Kaiman for IM, and the Amphibian 008 for short course.
I also have the Trinergy, but have not raced on it yet.
If you like 2-pieces, the Manta/Twinki ( formerly known as the "A" pieces) is awesome. I have raced on Kiwami exclusively for the past 3 years and couldn't be happier. Jordan is racing their gear this year also, and he really seems to like his as well.

Hi all,
Thanks for all those positive feedbacks !!
Andre for Kiwami USA and myself for Kiwami CANADA would be happy to help you with Kiwami needs !
Khai, I don't think you called me ... but you're in Canada though ;-)
Have a look at www.kiwamitri.com and pick your country.
I would make one comment about the prices though. At Kiwami, we only carry high-end and quality products. For instance, you will find only 2 kinds of shorts ! But they are only good quality.
If you look at other brands they can carry up to 6-7 different shorts (such as Louis Garneau) with different materials or quality (and mostly all black).
When you compare prices, make sure you compare with the "high-ends" items ... not with the low cost ones ! And you will see that our prices are very similar or even better in some case.
Our Amphibian is about $219, versus $249 or $275 for an "equivalent" suit on other brands.
By the way, in Ottawa (the city in the world that sent the most athletes to Kona on almost yearly basis), almost all the best athletes (short and long distances, elite and age grouper) are now racing in Kiwami and they are all happy about it !
And if you pay attention when looking at pros athletes pictures on the net or in magazine you will notice that lots of those suits are re branded ... Many athletes wants to race with Kiwami (and do so) but replace the logo by Adidas or Asics ... depending on their contract.
See many of them in Bejing !
Olivier.
