80 miles to Atlanta :)

The Bike Store in Warner Robbins is supposed to be good.

No tri shop. There are two bike stores in Macon, but neither has any reasonable amount of tri specific gear so I agree, you'll have to go to ATL. Here's one shop that has a good web presence also. THey are about 1.75 hr drive from Macon:

If you have your bike with you, there are group rides on Tuesday & Thursday at 5:30. The rides starts out at the N. Macon Presbyterian church. There's a local racing team that usually participates, so you can find any speed you like to challenge yourself. You'll find any distance from 20-40 miles with most folks doing 35-40.

The bike store has a store in Macon (on northside), they are ok as far as a local shop. PM me if you need anything else, I will be in and out of twon and just finished my last half of the season, but can help you out with routes and training groups.
