Waiting on a refund for the bike I ordered on the 2nd of July. First it was delayed, then delayed, then delayed, then finally delayed. Finally on the 11th of October they emailed to supply a consignment number. Problem was I left Europe in August!

Now they are playing games over the refund as I cancelled my visa and they claim they cannot refund a credit to a different card.

I've ridden a Valkyrie as my second "road bike" (74 degree seat tube angle, SLAM position with no aero bars) for the past three years and have been pretty happy with it. I ordered it online, then had my LBS "intercept" it with Airbourne -- they took delivery on it, got a commission from Airbourne, and then didn't charge me for the assembly (about $2000 for everything).

I just use my LBS for ongoing service, and haven't needed anything from the manufacturer (what could go wrong with a Ti frame, anyway?)...I'd recommend them without hesitation.

"What could go wrong with a titanium frame anyway"

Well, since ti must be welded in an oxygen free environment, it is quite technically demanding. This is where an inferior ti bike will fail (IF it does), versus, say a company with lots more experience/expertise (ABG - Litespeed et. al, Serotta, etc.)
