The main forums are full of super cranky jerks right now. Is this part of an annual cycle? Sheesh, they all need a big fat chill pill.

GONG SHOW! It is sort of amusing though *head shake*.
I'm assuming what the "p-word" is, and maybe it's just my age or the fact that I am surrounded by males in my life, but that doesn't bother me in the slightest.

Maybe they need to watch this?

I'm trying very hard not to get involved in one of the arguments that's going on. I know my chances of changing anyone's mind are slim to none so I think I'll hang out here for a while instead.

I started to make comments on some thread that spun out of control and I bailed.

I use the P-word against men because it really seems to get them riled up, especially when it comes from a woman. It bugs me but there are worse things.

Downward spiral of negativity. It used to be I could pass up threads that I knew would stink. Now they seem to creep in on every thread at some point. Cathy - please use all your powers to moderate The Womens so that we don't go that way. Carte Blanche sister.

hahaha, i've missed all of that. too funny. it would NOT be slowtwitch if everybody didn't fight once in awhile. sometimes there will be several fights at once; it's hilarious! :)

when i think of the hours i've wasted and spent on ST fights...well, i guess it's kind of shameful actually. :P

I was wondering the same thing. The Lavender Room is out of control. And it's the same guys bitching back and forth among each other. On top of it all, some of the threads are ridiculously long and say almost nothing.

It sucks to open a thread thinking I might get some interesting information and end up reading an intentionally inflammatory post. It just seems like all discussions are starting to end this way. Viral negativity.
