why do you post about politics? Can't Post

on forums all across the vast interwebular datascape, the vast majority of people posting on political topics are quick to take to partisan sniping and character assassination in the content of their posts. this isn't an observation that's specific to slowtwitch, though slowtwitch follows the trend quite closely.

so, tell me: do you post because you enjoy partaking in these activities, or do you actually have a dim hope that what you say is meaningful?

I don't say much in the political posts but I do read some of them in the hopes of learning something, which actually does occasionally happen.
