i am sitting here turning all red Can't Post
apparently having an allergic reaction to something but can't imagine what. no other symptoms except i look sunburnt and my skin feels hot. as long as i can breathe okay, there's no real harm in riding it out, is there?

I'm no doctor, but, not sure you can ride it out until you have breathing difficulties. Seems to me, that may be too late. If the skin actually feels hot, you are likely spiking a fever. I, personally, would not wait too long.

I had this happen to me several years ago, only it didn't go away until I went to the hospital and had an antihistamine injection.

kinda weird. i put a call into the doc. only the limbs & face are beet red. thanks for the thoughts. guess i'll just hang with it for a while.

Why not just take an oral antihistamine? At least the discomfort will go away...

that's a good idea. i have some in my desk. our IT guy says that his mom breaks out when she's under stress. it's been a godawful day. maybe that's all it is. thanks, cuds.
