You forgot about Poland Can't Post
Poland signs accord to put missile interceptors in their country. I am guessing this is not a coincidence. Russia is playing chess, but the West will play Go.

Little punk Putin gets to pound his chest by focusing on and crunching one little country. We will maybe see how it sorts out if he has a half dozen fronts.

This is very good news.The real prize is Ukraine.It is vital that the Ukraine gets into NATO now.To bring Ukraine into NATO and keep it out of Putins hands would defiantly put a real sour taste in his borscht.
Putin needs the Ukanine it is such a vital strategic location.Odessa a Black Sea port for the navy,Dnieper river up to Kiev and Europe,agriculture areas,minerals. It is in his sights, if he gets in there we are in trouble!

More information is coming out about the deal. Poland is doing it in return for upgrading its air defenses. Those rows of cold War Russian tanks are not good for much of anything except target practice absent air superiority.

Also agreed on the vital importance of the Ukraine.

Andrewmc, do you still thing all that is going on is meaningless talk?
