Where did McCain go at the end of the debate?
Can't Post
On MSNBC all I could see is the Obamas walking around shaking peoples hands and posing for pictures. Switched over to FOX assuming this was a deliberate or accidental visual bias but still no McCain. Did he just walk out? Weird.

agreed. it was odd behavior. equally odd was that little shuffling thing he did across the stage, back and forth, back and forth. i wanted to hand him a walker. disturbing behavior indeed.

He went to cry somewhere knowing that he's lost the election.

You guys crack me up. There's still almost a month until election day. That's plenty of time for either candidate to compleely implode. Things look great for Obama right now, but tomorrow or next week could still see a big swing the other way if he steps in shit. It ain't over 'til it's over.

I'm wondering whether he had something physically wrong with him. He didn't look right and sounded kind of labored when he was talking.

That's what I was wondering too. You have free national TV face time and your opponent is taking advantage of it, why would you leave?

He seemed to be standing up and moving around a lot during the debate, even when he wasn't speaking. Obama tended to remain seated unless he was speaking. I found McCain's movements odd.

I was watching on ABC and saw Brokaw go over to him and wave toward an exit. Sen and Mrs. McCain headed out. Brokaw then did the same with the Sen and Mrs. Obama, they started heading out, the senator stopped to shake a hand and that was the end of his exit.

I had a hard time seeing anyone on stage after the debate.
There seemed to be a giant red orb, that was bursting a zipper on its back.
It moved towards Barack, then back towards the audience.
kinda filled up the frame. wierd.

Obviously, you didn't read the other thread about "stupid people." According to that thread, this last month doesn't matter, because the people who haven't made up their minds yet are stupid. Apparently all the smart people have already decided who they are voting for.

I honestly thought that he shook all the hands that wanted to be shook by him and with nothing else to do, he left leaving the stage to Obama

From a discussion with three debate audience members (two of whose questions were asked):
Quote
Both women, as well as the third audience member, were especially emphatic about their feelings on the two men’s performance after the debate.
All three said that Mr. McCain shook hands with several audience members and then left fairly quickly. Mr. Obama and his wife, Michelle, stuck around to shake far more hands, pose for pictures, sign autographs, and answer more questions, including from people who had been on stage but did not get a chance to ask their questions. Only when Secret Service agents told them it was time to go did the couple leave (upon which they headed for a post-debate fundraiser at Al and Tipper Gore’s house nearby).
“McCain leaving right afterward was pretty shocking to me – even some of the big McCain fans among us were really surprised he did that,” Ms. Jackson said. “I thought the Obamas came off like real people much more in the end.”
Ms. Trella added: for, “I was very impressed that the Obamas stayed til the very end, shook everyone’s hand, and just seemed very accessible. I think they won some people over by just sticking around and seeming happy to talk more.”

I think he needed a nap :-)
Kidding aside, I wonder if he isn't as good at working the crowd as Obama is and left because of that. Only a theory.
I also saw him "stalking" around when Obama was speaking. Strange but it seems a bit in line with his personality. More aggressive and confrontational.
My husband made the comment last night that if you want a bulldog to go into office, be an ass kicker and tenacious, vote McCain. If you want someone who is a thinker, analyzer and takes a more strategic approach as opposed to immediate action, vote Obama. (While I tried to keep that as neutral a statement as I could I probably didn't succeed.)
