McCain's 72. If he were younger, I'm sure he'd just bitch-slap Obama and Biden back to the Stone Age. Instead, Palin's gotta do the heavy lifting these days, and she seems to relish it. Take a look at this Newsweek cover:







That's an over-and-under, break-open, breech-loading shotgun sort of thingy. I hate to be so technical with the terms, but it is what it is. From the looks of the picture, if she can't hit you with the shot, she looks prepared to bash you over the head with it ;-))

Think Jumpin' Joe (Beretta) Biden or Barry O. knows what one of those things are? I think not.


Tell ya what. I'd be willing to bet Palin'd be far more willing to use that weapon on a bad guy than either of the two Dems, what say you-all?

Depends on if she's successful this year. If she's Veep (and assuming McCain doesn't do something stupid...like run for reelection), then I like them. If not, I think she's going to have her hands full.

Maybe she takes the next four years to become a policy wonk and get an advanced degree or something, who knows? Stranger things have happened.

There's the Hillary Factor, too, if Barack loses. She'll come back on the Dem side and try again, and if she prevails in the primaries, I wouldn't want to bet on Palin's, or Jindal's, chances in the general.

Hmmm....the reciever, forestock and adjustable comb look like it is a Beretta 682 or 686. Beautiful firearm.....
