San Francisco officials harboring fugitives Can't Post
Eight Honduran crack dealers, who were harbored by San Franscico city officials from federal prosecution, have apparently walked away from the unguarded remote mountain facility in southern Cali where they were dumped. San Francisco taxpayers spend $7000 per month per crack dealer to provide them with a mountain resort lifestyle and to keep them away from federal prosecuters.

This should make a good sound bite when Nussom starts his run for Governator. He probably won't spend much time or advertising in the IE.

I heard MattinSF was supposed to be watching them but they snuck out while he was posting on Slowtwitch. Anyway, despite the splendor of their mountain comfort they got tired of his sanctimonious diatribe on why we should all drive hybrids, the ice caps are melting, and how the world was coming to end under Bush/Cheney and their oil tycoon friends. They couldn't get out of there fast enough and word is they have returned to Honduras. One was quoted saying, "Sheet man, those birkenstock mericans are muy loco."
