Review:World's Fastest Indian Can't Post

Saw it last night.

Anthony Hopkins does a fantastic job as Burt Munro , pioneer motorcycle guru from Invercargill New Zealand.

What I enjoyed most about this movie is the human aspect of Munro. The man loved life. He loved people-treated them well, fairly and always had a smile for them.

Its also more about a persons dream . , the lifelong pursuit of it .

Getting that old motorcycle, it was 40+ yrs old by the time he started to modiify it, to go as fast as it did with nothing fancy as far as materials or tools is a triumph of the human spirit !

The cinematography is almost old school which I found refreshing .

I've got a 1971 Honda that I'm restoring/converting into a Cafe Racer(4 years into it and stalled ) and this movie just jump started me
into finishing it.

I wish they made more movies like this.

I am DYING to see it! I've heard nothing but good things.

PS I am finishing up an old Harley rebuild and going to start in on a '69 Triumph Bonnie next winter

Sweet !

69 Bonnies and 69 BMW R's are my all time faves .

My Dad had a 69 BMW w/ a racing style sidecar .

There's a guy who lives in Churchtown,NY which is about 20 mins from me, who's got what I believe is the largest collection on Triumphs,Norton,Duc's and Triumphs in the USA.

He bought an old tractor warehouse and stuffed it w/ over 100 bikes.

Been there once. I had an Out-Of - Body experience.

When I get to the point of being too old and trashed to do Tri's I'm going to spend all my time w/ Vintage bikes.

Long live the Hardtails !!! ...Harley that is : - )
