Randy Pausch ...Rest in Peace Can't Post
Saddened me to read Randy Pausch died today, author of The Last Lecture. An inspirational guy, touched many around him...loved reading his book as a parent of young kids.

I've known him for a while and check his progress web page every few weeks. It was just a month ago (6/26) that he wrote he thought he was slowly improving, but that regular chemotherapy had just about run out of alternatives and that the side effects had more or less reached a tipping point of being worse than not having the chemo. Based on the life expectancy estimates I heard about this time last summer, the various treatments he pursued got him about 6 more months. As stars went, he burned a lot brighter than most; a dammed shame he went so early.

RIP, Randy. You'll be missed.

I saw the special today on TV. I will have his book in the next 24 hours. What a great person to admire...finally a true roll model that we all can be proud of.

Funny...I have more than one Tigger and to many claim to be Peter Pan...not that I am even a shadow of the man he was.
