Price these stereo components? Can't Post
So someone I know has the following stuff (and more):

VRDS UX-1 universal player
Lexicon MC-12 surround sound processor
4x Chord SPM 6000 amplifiers
2x B&W 800D (not sure about the number) speakers

Near as I can tell (and finding prices for this stuff ain't easy), that's $14,000 for the player, $9-10,000 for the processor, $23,000 each for the amps (at today's conversion from pounds), and $11,500 each for the speakers.

Am I correct that this stuff is worth north of $140,000? Sweet mother of god. The cables alone probably cost more than my car.

Yeah, that's some pretty high-end stuff. There's no limit to what you can spend if you really want, you can easily spend the price of a good car on cable or spikes or stands if you've got the $$$s. Kinda makes triathlon look cheap...

Yeah, all class A gear.

A buddy who is a doc has some $200k BW Nautilus (sp) speakers connected with $15k Kimber Kable interconnects....gets sick at the high end.
