I hate when people say that about Bush, "He seems like a regular guy." It's not a regular job, I don't want a regular guy. I had friends say "Gore came off as too smart." Too smart? I am fine with the President seeming "too smart" as opposed to let's vote for the dumber guy.
I am not saying intelligence is the only quality, but I certainly would vote for someone because they came across as "less smart."

....vetoes every piece of legislation that increases taxes and/or the size of the federal government. (Which, of course, would be every piece of legislation.)

Exactly how does knowing how to use a computer really matter? I seriously doubt if the POTUS is doing internet searches or typing up his speeches in Word.
I work for a man who is 87. He is worth 1.7 billion. Does he have a computer? Nope. Has his lack of having a computer on his desk hurt him? I seriously doubt it.
Just another way for you to take a swipe at McCain.

Why do you hate old people?
Some of the biggest economic issues facing this country are technology related, net neutrality for example. I'd like President with a passing knowledge of such things, one who doesn't ramble about the google or the blog.
My father is a luddite. He can't work a VCR, he has bunny ears on top of his TV, yet he is online every Sunday morning on Skype playing internet hide and seek with his grand daughter....if he can do it so can McCain. McCain's lack of the most basic of computer skills or knowledge shows me he lacks the sort of curiosity or interest I'd like my President to have. If the whole world is online and participating in the internet age and my President didn't care to find out what that was all about, that would concern me.

Wants to allow people to live their own lives.
Knows the difference between "Lending a helping hand" and "Taking care off"
Realizes they will make as many mistakes as president as they did any other time in their life, is confident enough to accept and admit that.
Views political positions more like jury duty than a career.
Realizes there is rarely a true right, that people are different and the vast majority of solutions will come from that "gray area"

will level with the nation about the economic, international, educational and infrastructural hole we find ourselves in.
Of course the real magic would be for the people to actually listen...and respect him/her for doing it.
