Where do women have short, dark, curly hair?

Fiji!

Thanks for the reminder, it's been 43 years since I thought about that joke.

Her pick is way better, even if there isn't some half-cocked coup attempt in progress whenever you were contemplating going to Fiji (about an even money bet).

Then again, are you going to spend your whole married life being dictated to by some peremptory harridan? Heck, no! Drag her off to Baghdad, show her who's boss.

I was there in the Navy about 11 years ago now. Seemed like nice place, although, i'd been underway for 4 or 5 months so any place was nice. Great diving, i've heard some of the best in the world. We were there for just a few days, so i'm not sure everything there is to do there.

My better half and I stopped in Fiji on our way back from our honeymoon in New Zealand and were here for 5 days:

We had a few logistical issues getting back (not the resort's fault...let's just say that Fijian airlines aren't exactly running like clockwork...the plane will either show up or it won't but apparently this is just how things operate on the islands!) but overall very much enjoyed our time there. Neither hubby nor I are huge beach people so the five days was just about the perfect amount of time to do nothing without starting to go out of our minds. Some great snorkling before I chickened out due to sharks in the water, did some sea kayaking, and lots of lazing around in our own private beach hammock.

My wife and I went to Fiji for our honeymoon. It was great. We went to two different islands, both were very different which kept things interesting. Loved Yasawa.

Never been to Fiji but have been to Bora Bora... that place is ridic... makes the best of the Caribbean look like the Jersey Shore.
